Black Pink Prawns

The Black Pink prawn, also know as the Jinga shrimp, is one of major commercial importance in Pakistan, the West and Southeast coasts of India, both coasts of Malaysia, and in Hong Kong. A marine species found at the bottom of shallow waters down to 92 metres, the Black Pink prawn can grow up to 17cm. In Malaysia, Jinga shrimp are cultured in ponds.
